This only occurs in a notebook, does not occur on other computers.
I close the window and a Mageia works normally.
But that window come back every time I restart the computer.

Anyone has tips on how to solve this?

Does it happen if you log in as a different user?
If so rename your ~/.kde folder
(A new .kde folder will be created on the next login with default settings)

Djennings,

I looked again and saw that this error was not resolved so, I reported a bug in KDE ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278430 )

I did some testing, I created a new user and the window with error appears again. I renamed the folder ".kde4", as you suggested, and restart the computer. A new folder .kde4 was created and the window with error appears again. I close the warning window error of KDE and I can work normally with the notebook, but this warning error back every time I restart the notebook.

Note: I thought it was fixed because I had accessed the user through login and password, but now I saw that the error only occurs when the user initialization is automatic. If I restart the session and make access to the user again through login and password, the error does not occur.

Re: [SOLVED] Mageia KDE, the error window appears kdeinit4:

If you only see the problem when using auto login then it could be related to speedboot.
Mageia/Mandriva has a system called speedboot which attempts to load all the essential parts of the system as rapidly as possible while leaving non essential parts to be initialised later. Speedboot reduces boot times considerably, but can cause some anomalies. Try disabling speedboot as described here.
http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2010.0_Errata#Sometimes_you_may_see_anomalies_which_may_be_caused_by_speedboot

If speedboot is the culprit, then raise a bug with mageia bugzilla.

Djennings,

Thanks,
I'll take a look.

Note 1: Yes. I tested putting "speedboot = no" in the boot and the error does not occur in the automatically at startup. Thanks again. :D
I'll notify it in bugzilla-Kde and bugzilla Mageia.

Note 2: The time difference is minimal:

With speedboot: After starting, the mouse appears to 25 seconds. The desktop opens up to 55 seconds.

Without speedboot (speedboot = no): After starting, the mouse appears with 36 seconds and the desktop opens up to 60 seconds.

Note 3: I opened a bug 2275 in Mageia Bugzilla.

Is now solved. :)
