[Solved] " can't call method val on an undefined value"

Postby captainfur1 » Aug 6th, '14, 14:13

Hi all, I have decided to finally upgrade from 2 to 4 via a fresh install. I get to partitioning and get the above error. Have tried existing partitions, use Windows free space, even tried on a Usb stick.

Trying to install 64 bit DVD on a Lenova Laptop.

Going to download 4.1 tonight and try tomorrow but as may have the same issue after suggestions.

Cheers
Glenn

Upgrading is only supported from Mageia 3 to Mageia 4. Check https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_4_Rel ... m_Mageia_3

Thanks Doktor, yeah I realize that. I was actually doing a fresh install and keeping my home partition. I suspect I may have had a dodgy installation medium. I downloaded 4.1 last night and will try it tonight.

All fixed, looks like may have just been a bad download.
