LXDE Widget and Font Rendering Issue

Hi,

I have been using Linux Mint for the past two years and switched to Mageia over the weekend. My home desktop is now running Mageia LXDE as I prefer light weight DEs.

Couple of basic issues I am seeing in Mageia. Can some one help?

1. Widgets ==> In the "Customize Look and Feel", oxygen-gtk is set as the default widget and I am unable to change it. I tried to change it to "Clearlooks", "Crux", "Advaita" etc, but it keeps reverting back to oxygen-gtk.
2. Font Rendering ==> Mageia's font rendering is not as attractive as Ubuntu or Linux Mint. I personally prefer ubuntu font family for better rendering. I did search for improving the font rendering in Mageia and based on the results, I enabled the tainted updates testing repo and installed lib64freetype6. However, in the "Customize look and feel", under "Fonts" section, I am not able to change the anything. Even when I change the "Hinting" to Slight and Subpixel geometry to None, it keeps reverting back to "Full" and "RGB" respectively. Also, I am not seeing any options to change the DPI size.

Can some one help?

Thanks,
Balaji.
