I can confirm sreekumar's issue on Cauldron:
- Code: Select all
[akien@cauldron ~]$ xboard
Unable to create font set for -*-helvetica-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-*-*-*-*-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*.
Here are the fonts I have installed:
- Code: Select all
[akien@cauldron ~]$ rpm -qa | grep -i font | sort

@Latte: Could you also post the list of your font packages using doktor5000's command, for comparison purposes?
@sreekumar: Could you open a bug report on bugs.mageia.org against the xboard package? Once we find the cause of the issue we can use it for the QA testing of an update candidate for xboard.
