Hi there,
Have been using Ubuntu and Fedora for some years now.
Just switched to OpenSuse and Mageia. Looks like KDE nowadays might be more appealing then the Gnome-story last years.
I used K4DirStat before. Dont really like Baobab.
Trying to find something similar on Mageia right now. No luck yet.
Anyone?

I think, what you are looking for is part of the Konqueror (see screenshot). I don't know, how the menu point is named in English, but you can see in the screenshot where to find. Please note, that the menu is different if you are in the 'webbrowser' or in the 'filebrowser' mode of the Konqueror. So go first to the root directory, where you will start your overview and then click the option

FWIW, this can also be launched as a standalone program, it's called fsview.

filelight and xdu are avaiable via the Mageia repositories

In the end i have figured out that i had to start Konquerror instead of Dolphin. If im not mistaken. And then i could find this thing in the menu.
And i also tried some alternatives. But i dont like any of them.
Only K4Dirstat looks decent. Somewhat like the WinDirStat does.
Others are not really to my liking. But ok.

yes i did read, back then, forgot already,
in the end i have used what he suggested,
(i have got this suggestion also somewhere else if im not mistaken)
so i have used it but i dont like it, to use it all the time,
