[SOLVED] Missing software in Software Management (64-bit) ?

I recently installed Mageia 4 (64-bit version) on my PC.

While attempting to install software with Software Management, I found that much software is not available for installation when I search for it, such as Wine, Calibre, clamav, shutter, etc.

Is all this software simply unavailable for the 64-bit Mageia 4 (in which case, I'll switch to another distro) or could there be a bug installed with my OS?

Thanks for any feedback.

A lot of software doesn't come in 64bit versions which is why when you setup your online sources 32bit repositories are included and set as active by default.

See https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Install_medi ... 864_bit.29

Thanks! I found the pathway to add those 32-bit repos, and now the "missing" software is now available. Problem solved.

Glad you found it.
Would you be so kind as to edit the subject line of your initial post adding [SOLVED] to the beginning?
