Hi Kirsty,
How recent is your motherboard ?
If it is less than 3 years old, in the bios menu tree there should be an option to enable / Disable UEFI boot option,
or Enable / disable legacy bios.
Sometimes only 1 option needs to be set, others both, so there may be some tinkering needed there.
Check also that boot option USB HDD may be available and if so, try that option also.
Good to know you are getting there.
p.s. I did a google search on your bios but no valid returns, so it looks like you will have to do all the heavy lifting.
p.p.s. In my unit at home if I remove the USB device and then reboot, the bios changes back to internal HDD and I have to reset bios to boot to USB, every time I want to boot from a usb device.
