SOLVED wine quicken deluxe new Kernel

Hi I've been using Quicken Deluxe 98 under wine quite happily for the last few months. Since downloading updates yesterday (think one was fglrx driver update) Quicken Deluxe fails to load. It does still load if I boot from an older kernel.

It works using kernel 3-12-18-desktop-1 but not using kernel 3-12-20-desktop-1
Not sure where to go from here to get it working again.

AMD A8 CPU
ASRock FM2 A75 pro 4 motherboard

Advice welcome

I fixed this by changing the settings for this prog in wine configuration from windows 98 to windows XP. Don't know why but it works!
