Power management on LT3120u

This is setup to dual boot WIN7 and Mageia 4 cinnamon.

The Win system power management is set to NEVER SUSPEND and DO NOTHING when power is connected. It works.

I have set the same setting (all of them) in the system setting in Linux.

BUT, it still suspended when it sets more than 5 minutes (the setting for when it isn't connected to power) and it suspends when the lid is closed.

To make matters worse, when the lid is opened it doesn't "un-suspend" unless the power button is pressed and when it does come on the screen display is all messed up and the shutdown icon doesn't work forcing me to do a hard shutdown by holding the power button down.

Can you please post a screenshot of the settings?

Ok,
Hope this helps the Magi sort this out.
I started the computer in WIN 7 for it's weekly update time and shut the lid just like normaol with no problems.

Without thinking about it I restarted it later in Mageia while the lid was shut and it started just fine. Went into sleep/suspend mode and came out by simply moving the mouse just fine.

Opened the lid and all was fine.

Closed the lid and it went into sleep/suspend mode and would not wake up just by moving the mouse.

Opened the lid and this is what I get.

At this point I can move the cursor around but it won't actually do anything but different parts of the screen will change to show different parts of the background or other open items on the desktop. It goes into sleep/suspend and comes out by moving the mouse but it stays in the screwed up video display.

To turn off the machine I will have to hold the power button down.
