I'm trying to install MGA4 on my laptop, but when i get to the partition stage the disk is empty. I've tried installing using several methods including a burned classic 64-bit MGA4 DVD, an USB stick containing the installation files from the ISO made with Rufus, and pointing to the ISO file stored on the hard drive on one of the partitions but nothing works. I should add that i managed to install it following these instructions but then i couldn't get Windows to boot properly with grub-efi. So i started from scratch and wiped everything, reverted to MBR-style partitions in order to install Windows 7, Legacy PXE enabled.
The weird thing is that the partitions are visible before stage 2 as i was able to specify the ISO file to install from. But once the GUI starts it fails to find them. I haven't had much experience with Linux and UEFI so i'm not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions?

Solution:
It appeared that i had some stray gpt data left on the drive which caused fdisk to not detect everything properly. Using this excellent guide i was able to "zap" the remaining gpt data on the disk, and after rebooting, all the partitions were present
