Tocblock parse

Hey! Im trying to dual boot win7 and Mageia, but keep running into the following errors:
-ldm_parse_tocblock(): Cannot find TOCBLOCK, database may be corrupt.
-See also the attached images.

I've tried different media: bootable USB's (multiple) and burned DVD, as well as different writing software (LiLi, win32imager, and a couple others)
The main SSD hard disk previously had dynamic simple partitions, and have since changed them (totalling 3 partitions and one unallocated (one for the linux install) to Basic using paragon, other specs are NTFS MBR. My storage hard disk partitions are dynamic simple.

I really need this linux install up and running, hopefully it is still possible. If any other information is required I will provide as quick as possible.
Your help is very much appreciated :D
-Sorry for the image quality, there was plenty of glare when I took them.

You did check the md5 checksum of the image you have downloaded?

I followed the advice given on the link you/benmc have/has given and partitioned with parted magic to ext4 30gb primary to no avail. Followed the steps to create a live usb for mageia on the wiki using rmprep and easy2boot.

So did you already install Mageia and it fails to boot afterwards or your installation media already fails to boot?

In the latter case, please try one of the other methods from https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Installation ... h_drive.3F

Thanks dok! Ok! some progress made at least, using usbdumper with the classical installation I received a similar error in the installation menu. I may clone the disk then wipe and then bring it back win7 to the SSD and repartition, what do you think?

Well, you need a partition that is usable for Mageia. Mostly such issues arise when using different partitioning tools on one disk.
Cf. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4255
So best backup your data, then wipe the disk.

I suggest using gparted livecd to make those partitions, mageia installer partition tools is quit broken and if disk is gpt it cannot hadle it very well and it's very buggy.
