Hi, I've a Encore Printer Server in my network; I want to install the printers. How do I do? thanks.

Since you have assumed we all know which encore print server im going to make a guess.

these devices appear to use USB over the network. ie usbip.

this is to me anyway a new protocol.

but I think this is an immature project at the moment for linux, at least that's my understanding.

appears theres been drivers for this around since mageia 2 but not from mageia , and it looks like they need custom compiled into kernel at least in the dist i use mga3.

im guessing that as this is your first post, this might be a bit of a hill to climb, but i could be wrong.

from the link above it appears ubuntu has these usbip available in its repo, but i cant see it in mga3 repo.
