[SOLVED] No tray icon for mgaapplet in razorqt

I seem to be missing the tray icon for the mgaapplet when I use razorqt as my DE. It shows up fine in kde4.
Somehow I think it tries to show itself, because I can see a blank space in the tray with the same size as the other icons. (see attached image. Between the bird and the wallet)

Anyone else having this kind of problem?

I've been traversing the net for solutions to this all morning. I can't even find where razorqt stores/retrieves it's icons from. There are a lot of icon themes in /usr/share/icons, but only three of these are shown in the razorqt settings. (HighContrast, Oxygen, Gnome).
EDIT:
Don't know if it is related, but I have the following warning while running the applet from a command line:
Code: Select all
Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.1/Gtk3.pm line 296.

Are there currently updates available?

Yes. I checked manually, but haven't installed them yet.

EDIT:
OK. I got it working. It needs the following line added to the desktop file in the autostart folder to be able to show the icon.
Code: Select all
X-Razor-Need-Tray=true
