Hi ,

Anyone have Mageia on a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E335 ? . I'm thinking of installing it .I've tried a Live ubuntu cd and the wireless newtwork didn't work (known issue ) .
I was wondering if Mageia has the same issues ?.

If you don't try it out e.g. via LiveDVD then you won't know for sure.

Thats works to some extent . But ubuntu also will not resume after a suspend on the Thinkpad ( threads all over the net on this bug ) . Now i can't test that via the live DVD of mageia or can I?,for example with the unbuntu live DVD nothing happens when I close the lid or select suspend.I suspect because it's a live version .

I guess I will just have to risk a side ny side install and see if mageia fairs any better ,though I bet the can not resume problem may be linux specific as linux has some major suspend resume issues . My desktop for example won't suspend automatically ( given up with that one ).

Ok I will install and report back how it goes .

P.s - that's if I can get start up disk creator to load up magiea's iso !!!!

It will load up unbuntu iso but not magiea's . Close to giving up on this !.
