Strange Behavior - REVISITED

OK, am new to Mageia, but not real new to Linux, So..
OK, several times already when I log in and the system comes up I have had the screensavre
I have selected come up in a window on the screen. And at least twice I have had like 3 or 4 different
screensavers come up, each in their own little window (one was the actual screensaver I have configured to execute).
So, since I have not been able to find this particular problem in the forum (unless of course I am not using just the right
search term(s)), I decided to submit this, and see if anyone has ideas as to what the **** is going on.
I have over time used several different distros/flavors of Linux and have NEVER had this one happen.

BTW, So far, I do kinda like Mageia 4.

What screensaver is currently selected? And are desktop effects enabled or not?

@doktor5000:
In answer to your query:
1. The currently selected is blank screen
2. yes, desktop effects are enabled.
Please note: I am currently responding to you from WinXP. Since I do use both WinXP and Mageia4.
I have as stated had they weirdness happen several times. Once I had a different screensaver chosen, and that was when it popped up in a window, as well as like 2 or 3 other non-slected ones also in their own windows popped up.
I would have to go back out of windows (reboot basically) and go into Mageia to do any changes. So, it may take
a while as I am just answering this while waiting on an important phone call.

Thank you BTW for a quick response.

OK, now an update:

So far, after I checked the desktop effects area to what was enabled and what wasn't, and no I didn't change a lot..yet, the strangeness is still happening and very randomly. Like first time today going into Mageia never happened, but on 2nd visit, it happened...tho this time I had 2 copies of currently selected screensaver each in its own window. :o :?

I am seriously thinking of deselecting all items in desktop effects, EXCEPT translucency,
since I really do love that effect. 8-) :D

OK, made a couple of changes, and past several starts has not done it. (knock on wood). :)
So, this is at least very promising. :)
If, in say like 3 days time it still has not done it any more, I will then mark this resolved. :D

Mind to share with others what changes you did? Otherwise this thread would be quite useless.

Here is a list of the changes I made under Desktop Effects:

In Desktop Effects, go to ALL EFFECTS.

Cleared ALL entries under Accessibility.

Under APPEARANCE, only these are checked:
Dashboard
Fade
Hilight Window
Login
Logout
Maximize
Minimize Animation
Slide
Sliding Popups
Taskbar Thumbnails
Translucency
Wobbly Windows

Under CANDY
Startup Feedback

Under FOCUS
Dialog Parent
Dim Inactive
Dim Screen for Administrator Mode

Under WINDOW MANAGEMENT, only this item is checked
Desktop Grid

Well, after many reboots, boot up, etc. the problem has not returned.
Which is great. So, I will declare this one resolved. :D

Well, RATS!
I have since this one was originally posted done a fresh install of Mageia 4 KDE.
I was trying out various screensavers that came with Mageia.
I have actually narrowed the behavior down.
It ONLY happens when I have a OpenGL screensaver selected for use. :?
Gee, wonderful.
This is definitely..well...strange.
