Hello,
I have added windows fonts to Fedora, but how do I do it in Mageia?
I was creating a document with google docs and the font it was using was Arial.
Abiword or libreoffice does not have Arial.

Don't you think it would be a better idea to use the free alternative font families, like DejaVu or Liberation?

I found some windows fonts from the old xp system.
They can installed with the gnome-font-viewer. I didn't want to install hundreds, just one.
The font viewer puts it here:
Code: Select all
 ~/.local/share/fonts/

The system didn't like the fonts it affected the chromium and Firefox browsers making them hard to read.
They were creative commons, not really windows.
