I installed ioquake3 then added my files into baseq3, home/dad/.q3a.baseq3.
I then opened a terminal windoe and did ioquake3 and got this below...
- Code: Select all
[dad@localhost ~]$ ioquake3

[dad@localhost ~]$ ls
I download point release from about 10 different sites and even had a copy from about 7 years ago which I have used before. They all give me a Check Sums error when I try to install them using "sh".
- Code: Select all
[dad@localhost Desktop]$ sh linuxq3apoint-1.32.x86.run

AARRGG! any ideas?
Thanks..
I just installed Wine and tried to see if it would run under Wine and I could not get it to install. It hangs up right at install.
I also noticed I can find the CD/DVD drive from the terminal window, usually /media/cdrom/ whatever the cd is.
