[SOLVED] Mageia4 XFCE: NO! Suspend/Hibernate on Logout

Just finished a new install of Maageia 4 (great work..!!) and typically do a clean mult-DM setup with: KDE, Gnome, and XFCE. I've used XFCE as my primary DM for many years under Mageia/Mandiva, with assorted items from Gnome/KDE apps. I make great use of the "Suspend" feature which avoids a full reboot seqiuence for me. On the last few releases of Mageia I can usually go weeks without a forced reboot (new kernel, libc, X11, updates..).
After activation, setup, and tweaking of my new XFCE DM I encountered NO "Suspend" or "Hibernate" buttons on logout. A few notes:
1. Have used a variety of XFCE DMs for years so am very familiar with this environment (and Mageia..)
2. Reviewed any/all existing: docs, Web, XFCE site, and Mageia Forums\/Bugzilla and nothing specfically mentioned this new "feature"..
3. Did encounter multiple error reports for the new Fedora 20 release which desicribe this issue exactly:
a. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1012650
b. https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/questi ... hibernate/
4. It appears there may be an issue in the xfce4-session-4.10 module..?
To overcome this issue I'm temporarily using the XFCE4 Power Manager which activates a notification icon in the taskbar Notification area. This includes direct options for Hibernate/Suspend. Of additional note, I utilize the Tango icon set and the icon for the XFCE Power Mgr. is missing as well (shows red 'x')...
Any insights/comments are welcomed... Thank you.
