[SOLVED] Rebooting failure after Mageia 4 upgrade

I used mgaonline to successfully upgrade from Mageia 3 to Mageia 4. After the upgrade completed I was told to reboot. i did so, chose the Mageia 4 kernel, but ended up dropping down to a command line prompt. The messages said:

Code: Select all
dracut Warning: Cancelling resume operation. Device not found.
dracut Warning: Could not boot.
dracut Warning: /dev/resume does not exist.
Generating "/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt"

I have of course a backup of Mageia 3 I can restore before I try again.

Where do I go from here in attempting to upgrade from Mageia 3 to Mageia 4 and finding out why it is not successful ?

That was the problem. Thanks ! Once I changed the resume to the UUID of the swap drive I had no trouble booting to Mageia 4 successfully.
