[SOLVED] Stuck on boot screen

Postby nightshadow » Feb 7th, '14, 03:01

Hello there,

Today I tried to upgrade from M3 to M4, but I've got some problems, so I decided to do fresh M4 install.I did that succesfully, and then booted my new Mageia system.
It got to the boot splash screen, where it's supposed to show a box to enter a password, and then it hangs for min or two, and then it gets to the command line, emergency mode.
Here's a picture of what's happening(when I press ESC).

Any help is appreciated.

Can you check comment 17 in bug 12566 and try if that helps?

@filip: Doesn't look like a windows partition.

@nightshadow: You need to edit the /etc/fstab and comment out the offending line for /mnt/hd (or add the nofail option to it).
See https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12631 for more details.
