[SOLVED] Lost MCC on network upgrade to 4

I got the message that an upgrade to 4 was available. I said, do it and it did.
But now I have no drake tools. The drakconf Perl script is still there but doesn't run.
I ran urpmi drakconf and it seemed to install. Now I get an authentication request when I click the icon, but when I enter the password, nothing seems to happen.

I dual boot on an Acer One netbook. Everything else seems to work fine.

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Did you reboot after the upgrade? Aslo, as root please run the following command in a terminal and post the output here:
Code: Select all
urpmi drakconf
urpmi --auto-update --auto

Thanks doc. Now it works. :D

When I first tried the upgrade I got a message to reboot and I did.
But apparently it did not fully install. Therefore no MCC
This time with the urpmi --auto-update –auto command, it did.
I got a welcome screen which I didn't get before and everything seems to work.

Thanks again.
