Package Kit in Mageia 4 (message service)

Postby klwilcoxon » Feb 4th, '14, 20:07

Since installing Mageia 4, I get constant alternating messages:

* Message from syslogd@localhost (date and time) PackageKit: daemon start
* Message from syslogd@localhost (date and time) PackageKit: daemon quit

I have to click these messages to make them go away. BIG hassle.

How can I make it stop????

I don't get such messages. What desktop environment do you use, and could you post a screenshot of such dialog you need to click away please?
