[SOLVED] Boot message and Permissions popup?

Hello! My upgrade to Mageia 4 was mainly a success. Just a minor hiccup where one of the packages (libpango I think?) had hung while it was updating but I managed to boot into CLI and logged in to finished the upgrade. I just have two minor problems I've been wondering about:

1. When I boot up Mageia 4 the following will be outputted:

I've tried using both GRUB and GRUB2 and there's no difference. Also this output would be shown the entire boot process, no boot loading image as in Mageia 3.

2. I'm not sure if this was intentional but the permissions pop-up is different that before:

Now it'll show this when I click on MCC or "Install and Remove Software", before in Mageia 3 it was a different dialog as it would only ask for your password. I know it's practically the same thing as the other one but I'm wondering if it was intentional.

Other than these two things, it looks well-polished. :)

As a general hint and golden rule: Please only one problem per thread ;)

Well, here it works just fine using grub. What I see is similar to here: https://doc.mageia.org/installer/4/en/c ... aller.html

Alrighty! Haha I didn't want to waste opening another thread if these issues seemed small.

Haha I just realised I had tmb kernel which explained that weird boot message. Also that definitely explains it, I seemed to have read everything but that part. :P

Thanks for your help doktor! I'm so happy I could kiss you! :D
