I've just finished installation and basic configuration of Mageia 4 KDE 64-bit on my laptop.
There are some issues/bugs I see there. I'd like to ask here before filing a bug report.

1. When I start MCC, there is a checkbox "remember authorisation" ticked by default. I consider this as a security breach. How can I get rid of that checkbox, or at least have it unticked by default?
2. How can I set up percentage for the batterry indicator? It was there in Mageia 3!
3. I've installed Pidgin and configured it for Facebook chat. However, it does not connect. It worked well in Mageia 3 with exactly the same parameters!- seems like this is a generic problem of Pidgin 2.10.8 as per their web page.

Best google for polkit and polkit agents, should be configurable there. If using KDE, you may want to look at

The setting you want to disable by default is probably this one:

For KDE, either add it as a plasmoid to control panel, or right-click on systray settings -> check if battery monitor is enabled there and add if there if you want it in the systray.

The Debian bug report says that "Remember authorisation" checbox is a red herring. It remembers only for a short time.
That's OK for me.

Plasmoid is already on the panel. But it does not show %%, only the icon. If I add it to the desktop - same widget shows %% below the icon. But I want it to be on the panel.

So the information provided is enough? On a related note, please next time do not use fullquotes, but only use the Reply function. Greatly improves clarity and reading flow

Sorry, from your initial description thought you were missing the battery monitor overall.
Yes, percentage is only shown in the tooltip or when you click on it. Also since one of the last KDE updates you can't supend-to-disk or suspend-to-ram anymore directly via clicking on the battery monitor :/

Yes, that was enough for me to understand, test and calm down.

Tooltip is not enough. I have a very weak battery, so need to monitor it very closely when on the battery.
I installed that Enhanced monitor, and I am a happy bunny now!
