I have just installed Mageia 3. After performing the update, I received the following mesaage:
Sorry, the following packages cannot be selected:

- kdebase4-runtime-4.10.5-1.1.mga3.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied icoutils)
- kdebase4-runtime-handbook-4.10.5-1.1.mga3.noarch
- task-kde4-minimal-4.10.5-1.mga3.noarch (due to unsatisfied kdebase4-runtime-4.10.5-1.1.mga3.i586)

I originally used mirrors.kernel.org. I've also tried mirrorservice.org but ran into the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I solved my own problem. For some reason, icoutils did not get installed and was not available to install from the DVD so I changed the release from the disk to a mirror. I was then able to install icoutils and was successfully able to update.

Sorry I jumped the gun.
