painfully slow kernel loading….

It is taking 5 hours to laid the kernel on the install DVD ….
System has 8GB RAM ne processor new Logic board all new….
What can be wrong ?

Difficult to say without being there, but what comes to mind is
a dodgy burn, or fingerprints on the DVD, or perhaps a poor DVD reader with dust on the lens.

can you state you motherboard, cpu, etc.

have you tried other bootable CD's or DVD's, im guessing you have.

the downloaded mageia image maybe bad, did you md5sum it.

many things you may well have already tried, but thats what it sounds like as

opposed to an incompatibility between your hardware.
