I have a computer where we have installed Mageia 3 in place of Debian Mint.
I am using Gnome3 in Classic mode.
All is fine except that all the panel icons and the panels themselves are being DUPLICATED every time we boot. Of course we can remove the duplicated icons, but what should we do to stop the problem?

Not sure I can be of much help although GNOME Classic is my choice also. What happens after you delete one of the panels, logout and login again, without a reboot? Maybe the problem has something to do with startup applications? Have a look at gnome-session-properties under the Startup Programs tab.
