Stuck at boot after start loading legacy modules

Hello,
I just installed Mageia 3 in Parallel Desktops and it proceeds the boot up to:
[OK] Started Loading Legacy module configuration
_
And it just stays there! The CPU is busy, but it seams to never finish. Any ideas?
I've been using for ages Linux in Parallels and never had this issue...
thanks,

basicly you need to boot safe mode
then see where its hanging
if safe mode still hangs then edit the kernel command line in grub prompt, and append the following
module_name.parameter_name=value
it may be that some hardware being emulated in parallels is having an issue with a driver or module in the kernel.

Safe mode works fine. But how can I find out where its hanging?

How long did you wait for it to finish/continue booting in normal mode?

30 minutes.
Now I tried again and it went 1 step further, to:
[OK] Started Configure read-only root support

ok, when in safe mode run init 2
see if it then hangs
if it does then reboot into safe mode
then start each service in run level 2 one by one.

may be same problem, or solved by using same diagnosis as this.
