Hi everyone i am new to Linux.
Can you help me to install and configure HP Drive Guard Driver?
I've found a similar thread in Ubuntu forums.
http://askubuntu.com/questions/199679/i ... rive-guard
But i have no idea how to install hpfall or alternatives in Mageia.
Thanks in advance for the reply.

The accelerometer in HP laptops is supported by the Linux kernel, but the daemon hpfall to park the heads on detection of free fall is not packaged in Mageia.

If you put in a new package request in Bugzilla at bugs.mageia.org then someone who happens to own an HP laptop may package it up for you.

For completeness's sake and also to allow others to follow up on that bug report, please also post the link to it here in the thread, thanks.
