I thought you know, that it is package for announcing new mail for thunderbird. There is an official package of mageia repository.

Without context that post can mean anything, you're missing an essential part of the description.
Also, what do you need it for exactly? Thunderbird integrates with the notifications via normal systemtray, at least under KDE,
without any additional plugin.

I need to announce new email till the time I read it. I need to see notification on screen of my PC. I think mageia should repair this bug. In other distros no problem. I like mageia there is an excellent distro. I have many problems with installing but now I try to repair a few problems.

To start a graphical application as root user you need to start your root session with
Code: Select all
su -
Note the '-' If you leave it out you will see that message about d-bus.

I started kdepim with copied settings of thunderbird and problem with notification new email respective coming new emails is solved for the time being. Kmail works properly. I don't need to use thunderbird, I need to work email client properly. Thank you for your advice with "su - ".
