[SOLVED] In Kickoff menu applications tab icon got corrupted

Hi everybody.

For some unknown reason, the icon in the applications tab changed. It is now the corresponding applications icon in the TANGO iconset. The theme I'm using is oxygen, the style is also oxygen. The icons in the other tabs belong to oxygen, but the applications icon is different. No matter what theme I use, this particular icon won't change to match the theme. I also created a new user and checked the menu; the annoying icon is there too, which means the problem is system wide.

Does anybody know where KDE's kickoff menu looks for the icon? I could go there and change it, but I don't know where it is.

Did you change the icon theme maybe? Can you try to change to another theme and then select the previous, and apply in between?

No matter how many different icon themes I try, this is the icon that never changes... the other ones do change. I think XFCE overwrote the icon somehow.

Here is a picture.

I solved it on my own (I'm such a genius) by uninstalling XFCE and RazorQT. I think the problem should be XFC since that intruder icon is clearly a GNOME icon and RazorQT is based on KDE.

So, in conclusion, XFCE is messing with some KDE configuration that causes the icon to be replaced. Oh and I rock.

Can somebody try to reproduce this? Could it be a Mageia bug?

Probably the icon is only defined by name, and the XFCE or razorqt icon of the same name,
but in another folder is found before the KDE icon, when searching through the icon folders.
