kipiplugin-htmlexport missing

Postby rychok » Jul 11th, '13, 02:49

I was trying to generate web album using DigiKam 3.1 on Mageia 3, and I couldn't find htmlexport kipi-plugin, there are files in /usr/share/locale/ but nothing else.
Based on my Goggling this plugin was missing in 3.1 release of DigiKam and kipi-plugins. I'm new to Mageia, so I do not know if should I report this as bug?
Do you thing that corrected kipi-plugins might be released as updates or backports? I have seen fedora package but it looks like there is no more available for download instead they have 3.2.

Thank You for any advise.

Yes kipiplugin htmlexport was disabled in 3.1 I assume because it was broken. It is back again in 3.2 which is in cauldron. Back ports is not open yet, so there is currently no chan e of it being available for mga3 at the moment.

All I can suggest is to raise a bug in the hope that 3.1 can be patched to fix whatever was wrong with it.
