firefox: web history doesn't appear on address bar

web history is always appeared when I type something on the address bar of firefox at the start. but, when I leave it idle for sometime.. sometimes the web history didn't appear anymore and I need to restart firefox to get web history back.

both firefox ESR which mageia shipped and firefox 22.0 which I downloaded suffer this problem.

Maybe you enabled some privacy option?
What settings do you have under Preferences -> Privacy?

Nope.

History and bookmark suggestion on the address bar does appear but sometimes disappeared.

I was using history and bookmarks suggestion when using the location bar. The suggestion was there but sometimes after long usage, the suggestion wouldn't come.

You checked all the suggestion on the linked mozillazine pages, specifically http://kb.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks_his ... _-_Firefox and rebuilding/clearing the places.sqlite file / checking for places.sqlite.corrupt files?
