How to come back to mageia 1 from cauldron

Postby pmithrandir » Jun 13th, '11, 19:10

Hi,

I was beta tester and my computer is still in cauldron.
I don't know how to come back to mageia 1 release.

When I try to add the complete source repositories, I stay in cauldron.
is there any page like easy urpmi to choose the right repos ?

Or any other simple ways ?

Thanks
Pierre

If you've updated your installation after the release of Mageia1 you'll probably have to re-install.

If you haven't updated then as root open /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg with your favourite text editor and do a find and replace, find /cauldron/ replace all with /1/, then as root run
Code: Select all
urpmi.update -a

Ok, that's a bad news because I already update kernel and KDE last week...

Too bad, but thanks for your answer.

If I think about that, it was a mandriva update, so it will be more stable after a reinstall...
