francescospina - I have exactly the same problem + I also think that the video driver dies on my PC sometimes as well - and I had no replies from anybody either. When my PC suspends during the day, it comes back to life just fine. But if I leave it on overnight I get the same problem as you! So I just power my PC off each night now.

If your pc is dead, you should probably get a new one ...
Seriously, no details in here. Which desktop environment, how do you suspend exactly, and is it suspend to ram or suspend to disk?
What graphics driver are you using, do you have a laptop or a normal PC? Which model?

@Myles: I don't see any post from you that is about problems with suspend? In any case, please don't hijack the thread, open a separate one.

You still didn't answer all relevant questions.
Which desktop environment? Do you have a laptop or a normal PC, and which model?

Is only the screen suspended or the whole machine? Can you still switch to another tty via Ctrl+Alt+F2 - F6?
Do the magic SysRq keys still work? https://wiki.archlinux.de/title/SysRQ

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A100-095, my desktop environment is KDE with Mageia 3. When my pc goes in suspension all the machine is suspend. When i touch the power button the laptop seems start, but after this initial signal the light of the processor turn off and the only light on is the battery light.

Can you please run
Code: Select all
systemctl suspend

as normal user, wait until machine is off, and then just press any key - does it come up normally again from suspend?

You probably need to check the usual kernel boot options related to acpi/apic for that to work:
