Mageia 3 [upgrade from 2]
Hp Dc5000 [pentium 4] pc

restarting after a poweroutage, selected mageia3
error message
this kernal requires x86 64bit cpu

thinking that the hdd may be corrupted I installed a hdd that had been working
did a clean install [use entire hdd] of m2 dual arch from a cd that I had used successfully 2 weeks ago
@ reboot same message
did an install from a m2 kde cd
same result

what should I try now?
