Mageia 3 Kde 4 i586

I ran drakconf to recover Mcc which was lost after uninstalling task-gnome
The app boot>set up boot returns an Error "This program has exited abnormally"
All other apps under Mcc are opening correctly

How do I fix the problem with set up boot

Can you please run the following command in a terminal as root and post the output here?
Code: Select all
drakboot --boot

Code: Select all
[root@localhost ray]# drakboot --boot
INTERNAL ERROR: unknown device sdb6
MDK::Common::Various::internal_error() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/devices.pm:186
devices::entry() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/devices.pm:201
devices::make() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/partition_table/raw.pm:64
partition_table::raw::typeOfMBR() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/bootloader.pm:209
bootloader::read() called from /usr/sbin/drakboot:53

Explanation: Internal error: unknown device sdb6

Originally Mageia 2 was installed on sdb5
I then installed and configured Mageia 3 on sdb6
When I deleted sdb5 partition which was Mageia 2
Gparted switch Mageia 3 to sdb5 from sdb6
At that time all systems were operating correctly

I then downloaded task-gnome..I did not like so I uninstalled
Mcc was completely missing so I ran drakconf and Mcc now working with the exception of setup boot error: this program has exited abnormally
Code: Select all
Partition table _msdos
sdb1 ext4 puppylinux
sdb2 extended
sdb5 ext4 / Mageia 3
