[SOLVED] Mageia - Repositories - (seeking clarifications)

Hi I am brand new to Mageia - previous distro opensuse 12.3 kde.
I have a list of Mageia repositories (medias) they are listed as (distrib #) where can I find descriptions of the distrib #'s?
I would like to know which distrib # to enable.

The numbers are irrelevant, the repository names are more important. Please have a look at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mirrors_policy and maybe https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Software_management

You should enable release and update media for each out of core, and nonfree and tainted branches. If you only want FL/OSS software, leave out nonfree,
if you don't want patented stuff, don't enable tainted.
