你好, 大风?

First try to rename the downloaded file from "Mageia-3-i586-DVD.iso.crdownload" to "Mageia-3-i586-DVD.iso", burn to dvd.
Then before installation, ask installer to check if dvd is okay.
(I remember there is such a facility).
If okay, proceed.
If burned dvd is not okay, do not proceed.

I remember at one time using Chromium download to iso giving such problem, better to use firefox, torrent or jigdo etc...
And...but I always download using linux, never windows.
and finally, use another location to download,

Good luck,
吳立

FWIW, to check md5sum under windows, you can use http://www.md5summer.org/ or http://www.winmd5.com/

Hello again

You can do two types of installation.
1/ a full installation - will remove all existing data from win Vista partition and replace with Mageia.
2/ a dual boot installation. you retain your Vista O/S and data, and have Mageia alongside. You can access your Vista data from Mageia but not the other way.

If you choose the dual boot option - very popular with new Linux users, you will need approx 10-20G for the 3 Linux partitions that has to come from your Vista partition. [ Home, swap , / ( system ) ]
Do you have this much spare on this partition?
Yes.... excellent.
You will need to resize the Vista partition [ shrink it ] .

Parted magic is an excellent tool for this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/partedm ... o/download

if you havent already read this also : https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Newcomers_start_here

at first thanks for everybody!
that is my vista sys issue. I changed another PC with XP download the file can complete. And checksum by a tool software the download is correct :D
By the way, I find another thing. When I download the file by IE (XP or vista), click the 32bit link, the webpage flash a beat then return to the same page(on the three PCs). The file can be download by Firefox and chrome.

And now I have a new prob. Sorry I m learn the mageia just few hours
