Upgrade from Mandriva 2010.2

Hello,

I currently am running a Mandriva 2010.2 system and would like to migrate to Mageia.
The only documentation that I could find on this website is about migration from 2010.2 to Mageia 1
Is there an updated documentation to migrate to Mageia 3 directly?
Or should I migrate to Mageia 1 first then upgrade to 2 then 3?

Regards

That is the only upgrade path that has been tested and is supported. You could try upgrading straight to Mageia 3, but be prepared for it to fail.

Me think reinstall would be safest and fastest, in your case.
But ...as usual, your choice.
Cheers.

[edit] - I mean "fresh install"

hi

If your "home" is in a separate partition you should be able to do a new install straight to M3. when the installer askes to format your partitions , make sure your "home " partition is unchecked.
as always backup important data first.
