Installing Mageia 3 on a Dell laptop?

I have bought a Dell Precision M4700 and was thinking about installing a different distro but then I came uponi Mageia and thought this looked interesting... :)
So I just have a few questions..:

- Will all my hardware be supported using Mageia 3?
- I am a developer and will be using my laptop for mainly Java and Android development, I am guessing using Java on Mageia would impose no problem?

PS: I have been using Linux for a loooong time, so getting my fingers wet in config files is no big deal... :)

I'd suggest you to test with LiveDVD. This way you can test what works and what doesn't. If you happen to have Broadcom wireless in your laptop it might need some tweaking but it should work as well.

Well, I took a chance and installed it... But I see there are some things not working right after installation, like Bluetooth, Fn-keys, volume-keys, etc...
(and I have an Intel chipset for wifi, seems to be working right out of the box... :) )

Please open separate threads for the multimedia keys and for bluetooth - golden rule is one thread per problem ;)
