This is happening again. Netatalk server cannot be logined after upgrading from Mageia 2 to Mageia 3. All settings were unchanged before upgrading. This situation happened with Netatalk on Mageia 1 but disappeared in Mageia 2. Are there any authentication packages that need to be installed as well? The client machines are running OSX 10.6.

Solved. The issue is with netatalk and not the rpm. See this link:
