Very short review of the Mageia 3 Christmas Edition gives my mixed impression:
1. 64-Bit LiveKDE (desktop with cable network interface, nvidia)
Everything works, I did not expect any problems anyway because a) it's a plain vanilla system from hardware side and b) it's a final where I do not expect issues with such hardware. No disappointment here, good job!
2. 32-bit LiveKDE (netbook with Broadcom 4312 wifi, intel graphics)
As usual with the previous releases splash screen does not work (minor issue). The bad point: Also as expected, wifi is not available. Using MCC -> new connection -> wifi, system does not even show the device, only points at ndiswrapper. I guess I would have to do a harddisk install and use a network cable to download the necessary driver. Result: situation is the same as in previous years, system is not usable in live mode.
