Mageia feezes on boot

I just installed Mageia 2 to my desktop (Gigabyte Motherboard with Core i5 3rd gen CPU) and it feezes on boot on the "Waiting for the hotplugged network to be up"

What is that and what do I need to do to fix it

Sounds to me like it's trying to boot from network instead of from the main HDD. Have you checked your BIOS setup to determine boot preference order?

Anyone else got anything? :/
