I have installed Open Office on one of my Mageia 3 instances. Immediately I get pounded by the updater to remove OO and install Libre Office in its place. I would REALLY like to be able to install OO and LO on the same system, but of course, that is impossible, I assume more due to political issues than technical ones. But it is really ridiculous that the updater can't tell the difference between OO and LO. There has to be a way to blacklist a certain package or packages to stop the updater from complaining about them. Any ideas on how to tackle this?
