About using date-related search with bugzilla

Postby swestlake » Apr 1st, '13, 22:41

Is it possible to search for bugs "after" a certain date? I've seen the field creation_date:

I tried "-1d" meaning one day ago in the search box, but this too fails to even perform a query

I'm thinking "-1d" doesn't work because bugzilla is using 4.4rc2(filed something)
according to http://www.bugzilla.org/releases/4.4/release-notes.html , "-1d" can be used in some way

Anything I can use as a work-around?

Well, there are already some saved searches based on date, you may want to look at https://bugs.mageia.org/userprefs.cgi?t ... d-searches
Those use criteria from "Search By Change History" section, for example this one: https://bugs.mageia.org/buglist.cgi?cmd ... arer_id=81 which were changed during the last 7 days.
So you could use the field [Bug creation] and -1d.

But there's already a search for that, called "Bugs reported today" : https://bugs.mageia.org/buglist.cgi?cmd ... st_id=2882

Thanks, I think I got the hang of it :)

https://bugs.mageia.org/page.cgi?id=release-notes.html -- am I right to assume Mageia is using a fork of bugzilla?

Nope, we're using the upstream version, and only some custom templates IINM.

EDIT: For completeness, we're using the normal Mageia bugzilla package, which you can use to
setup your own bugzilla installation locally. In addtion we have some custom templates: http://svnweb.mageia.org/web/templates/bugzilla/trunk/
and some extensions: http://svnweb.mageia.org/web/templates/ ... xtensions/
