Problem with fonts in Kobo (via Wine)

Do not know if this is the right place but I also have a problem with wine, installed thru the control panel.
I installed the "Kobo" desktop app. and it starts fine but displays no text on buttons ext. Can I just plug in widows fonts some place?

I've split this into a separate thread.

If you mean the Kobo reader, that should work fine: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=11668
Please provide at least a link to the program, and a screenshot of the problem ;)

Question : Why do you need to run kobo under Wine when you could use Calibre?

Well it started out as a must do project. To get my Kobo wireless to work it had to be initilized with the Kobo desktop app. I finally went to a friend and used his widows pc and got it going.
Now it is just a challange and if I need it to update my Kobo.

With Calibre you can read ebooks on the pc but has nothing to do with Kobo that I know of.

calibre does more than just enable you to read books. It manages your digital library, converts from one format to another, and can send books to your reader. kobo included I believe

I guess you mean the move fuction, I have Calibre installed, as the Kobo mounts as a drive on the pc. But I would still like to get updates for my Kobo if any show up.

Thanks for your help.
