Nautilus not showing Samba shares (Mageia 2)

Postby dedanna1029 » Mar 25th, '13, 23:38

I am unable to find nautilus-sharing in the repos any more, so this may have something to do with this issue. I am unable to access Samba shares in Nautilus, but can in Dolphin.

They all show in Nautilus, but there is no choice to connect via Samba (File-->Connect to Servers-->"Type" dropdown), and there is no "Samba Shares" folder in "Network" any more. The only way I'm allowed to connect in Nautilus, is via ssh... not exactly convenient right now.

More info here, and see this as well, where I type in the location field: network:/// (and I get a nice popup explaining that Nautilus can't handle Samba shares).

What can I do?

Thanks.

Perfect, as it does in Dolphin as well.
