Not yet it seems. You can make a request here: https://bugs.mageia.org/enter_bug.cgi?f ... tion=__all

Login, then choose "Mageia: Bug reports about the Mageia distribution" and select "New RPM package request"

Yes, there were already some reports:

https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2111
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2242
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4335

Don't open another, please, if you want, comment on the first one.

What version?
Transcode is in the repositories for both 2 and Cauldron, i586 and x86_64 and has been for some time.

The bug the Doktor pointed to is for a backport to 1.

MGA2. Maybe i see only the x86_64 package as it is already installed.

OP didn't tell anything about version, so i assumed mga2.

If you check the date of the origanal post it was June 7 2011, only Mageia 1 and Cauldron were available back then. Transcode came to Cauldron before Mageia 2 so it was included in the release.

Transcode for Mageia 1 would go into the backport repository and that repository as far as I know is not active in any version of Mageia yet.

Don't feel bad as I missed it too. That is until I looked at the bug report.
