Simple query about Text Mode Booting..Help

How can I enable a traditional Text mode booting in Mageia? I dont need a boot splash booting.. Where and what are the files I have to edit??

No need to edit,

Got too MCC > Boot > Set up boot system.

First option is.
Boot Loader to use:- "Grub with graphical menu."

Change it to "Grub text mode"

but it changes only the GRUB menu, isnt it??

I think what you probably want is also to edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and remove the words "splash" and "quiet" from the kernel line.

That can also be removed via MCC / drakboot --boot
